**What I'm trying to do** Cursor just told me I'm out of usage (or out of requests, I'm honestly not sure which), and it's way earlier than I expected. How do I see what actually used it up? And is there a way to stop it happening again, like a cap or a cheaper setting?

Cursor's models and pricing page, checked on 2026-10-04, splits usage into two pools that each reset with your monthly billing cycle:

Cursor Models: significantly more included usage, for Grok 4.7, Grok 4.6, Grok 4.5 and Composer 2.5.

Other Models: third-party models, charged at the model's API price. Pro, Pro Plus and Ultra include this pool, with the option to pay for additional usage as needed.

See what used it: both pools show in your editor settings and on the usage dashboard at cursor.com/dashboard/usage.

What changes the cost: the model you pick. Since different models have different API costs, your model selection affects how quickly your included usage is consumed.

Post your plan and the models you used, with a screenshot of the usage page if you can, and people can tell you what ate it.
