**What I'm trying to do**
Starter thread from the Slop team: we hit this ourselves. Here is what worked, with the receipt. Add your own experience below.
You're in the middle of a coding session with an AI assistant in your terminal, and suddenly every command fails with some version of "not logged in" or "session expired" — even though you were just using it minutes ago and didn't touch your account.
We hit a bad version of this ourselves: the login token for our terminal-based Claude Code tool expired and every automated step that depended on it broke, for about a day and a half, until someone manually logged back in.
The good news is the fix is almost always simple and doesn't mean anything is wrong with your account — it just means the local session token went stale and needs to be refreshed.
