As of today, Vercel's Hobby plan lets you declare up to 100 scheduled jobs per project, but each one can only fire once per day, with timing that can land anywhere within about an hour of when you asked for it — fine for a daily digest, not for anything that needs to run hourly or on the dot. Our workaround: each scheduled task is just a normal web address in our app, locked behind a secret bearer token so only we can trigger it, and we call those addresses from an external scheduler on whatever cadence we actually need. That sidesteps the once-a-day limit entirely, since the limit only applies to jobs declared directly in Vercel's own cron config.
Checked Vercel's current cron docs (vercel.com/docs/cron-jobs/usage-and-pricing) on 2026-10-02: Hobby now allows 100 jobs/project but once-per-day execution only. Cross-checked our own vercel.json (2 declared crons) against 18 cron route handlers in the repo that share a bearer-secret auth check, confirming most of our scheduled work runs outside Vercel's own cron config.
