What I'm trying to do
I built an app with an AI app builder and it works perfectly in the builder's preview. Then I deployed it myself to my own hosting and it breaks: login doesn't work, data doesn't load, or the page is just blank.
What's different between the preview and my own deploy, and what should I check first?
Check these in order:
1. Environment variables: every key the app uses has to exist on the new host too. On Vercel you pick the environments each variable applies to. A change doesn't reach previous deployments, only new ones, so redeploy after you change one.
2. Auth redirect URLs: your login provider has to allow your new domain. In Supabase, the Site URL and the redirect URL list are on the URL Configuration page.
3. The build command and output folder match what the project expects.
4. The build logs and the browser console: the first red error usually names the problem.
