The shape of it: create a Google Cloud project and an OAuth client (choose "Web application"), add your site's URL as an allowed origin and your login provider's callback address as an allowed redirect URI, then take the Client ID and Client Secret Google gives you and paste them into your login provider's Google sign-in settings. After that, your app just calls the "sign in with Google" method and the redirect happens automatically. We did exactly this with Supabase as the login provider, consent screen published (not stuck in test mode) so any Google user can sign in, not just ones we manually added.
Checked our own 2026-09-25 build log for the Google sign-in launch (OAuth client/secret, consent screen published), then re-confirmed the current setup steps against supabase.com/docs/guides/auth/social-login/auth-google on 2026-10-02.
